I recieved the case for my Tom-TomXL 330S, it fits perfectly and secure. the shell is durable and semi hard that zips securely and has a handle , inside you have 2 pouches one for 4.5 and one for 3.5 GPS, the car charge fits nicey in the zippered compartment and the little strap is good for the USB, the open pouch fits the instructions good, and the disk for tom tom ok.

I was really suspicious when I went GPS shopping, because I'd heard so many problems about metal blocking signals and so forth. I put the tracking key through all kinds of tests in my van, hiding it upside down under the seat, inside the dash, stashing it back inside the compartment for the jack, surrounding it with metal and pointing it in all different directions (it recommends you keep it upright, but I found it doesn't make a difference, this thing still works perfectly!). It's only disadvantage is that as a data logger, you have to retrieve it before you get the tracking info to download to your computer. The battery lasted me about two weeks of regular driving, though, so it more than compensated. But yeah, as a first time buyer of a tracking device and thorough tester, I was highly impressed. It shows on an overhead map (adjustable to satellite images with Google Earth!) the exact path the vehicle took, or an animated time-clocked journey, showing where it went, how long it stopped, when it took off again. No matter how deeply I hid it in the car, it never lost my signal once. Shop around a little bit to avoid overcharging companies, and you might want to wrap a piece of black electrical tape on the green battery light on the outside of the case for better hiding. Definitely an excellent buy, I'd recommend it to anyone with covert tracking needs.

If you are reading this and the other reviews of the Garmin eTrex Vista HCx then you are doing your homework and wondering if this GPS is as good as all the hype makes it out to be. The short answer is YES! I have an old Garmin 12 Map which has served me well, but was getting a bit long in the tooth. I wanted something a bit smaller, lighter, with color screen and was water tight. The Vista HCx meets all of these needs and so many more. It is small in size, but with a fairly big and bright screen (easily readable in the sun) for its size.

Every review I read touted the extra sensitive antenna and how it picked up and locked onto satellites inside of homes or buildings. Well I can honestly tell you that it does all this and does it quick. How this happens it Garmin magic. I was always told you had to have line of sight to pick up satellites, but not in the case of the Vista HCx, it can get them just about anywhere short of being in a bunker.

The menu is intuitive and easy to navigate, so much more that my old Garmin 12 map. The long story short, this little GPS is the one for everyone else to beat. If you are seriously considering a GPS purchase for hiking or navigating the back country, do not look elsewhere, this is the one to get!
The base maps in the Vista HCx are of course upgradeable through additional accessories purchases from Garmin (at substantial cost), but worth the money. How Garmin managed to pack so much into so little a package is a mystery to me. Do yourself a favor, stop reading the review and just buy one, you will not be disappointed.

BTW, I purchased mine through Amazon.com and took advantage of the free shipping. It arrived four days ahead of when it was scheduled to arrive which was a nice surprise. Amazon has a very good price and I have always been happy with my purchases through them. And no I am not getting paid to say these nice things about Amazon, I am just a very satisfied customer.

This gps receiver is simple to use and satellite reception was always great, even during snowstorms, being indoors, or metro areas. In six months, I never experienced anything that disappointed me w/ it's performance with my Dell Axim X51. After six months, I took it on vacation to use in a rental car and it was stolen from my luggage at the airport. I've replaced it with the exact same model. I highly recommend this i-Blue 737.

First off, let me state that my previous GPSr was a basic Etrex. It was pretty weak, but helped me find lots of geocaches. Now, keep in mind two weeks ago I had NO intention of getting a DeLorme. I was pretty set on getting the Garmin Oregon, and had just an inkling of the PN-XX's. So, I headed on over to the DeLorme forums and posted some questions.

The level of attention I received from the members as well as employees of DeLorme really impressed me. Couple that with a DeLorme employee's blog post which pretty much seemed to be a direct answer to my questioning about Mac support, and I was sold. I purchased the Astro 220/DC30 in May of 2009 for my Samoyed who if you have ever owned a sled dog (Samoyeds, Huskies, etc), you know all too well their fondness for roaming, chasing, and running all the while forgetting to listen (ignoring is more like it!) for you calling them!
